Improv isn’t about being the funniest person in the room or coming up with clever things on the spot. It’s about playing, listening, creating together and discovering what happens next.
Our Seniors Improv class is designed to be welcoming and accessible, whether you’ve performed before or have never stepped on a stage.
Come ready to play, laugh, meet people and try something new.
The Seniors Class can be a great starting point, and completing it opens the door to many other classes and opportunities at Improv Kingston. You’ll be joining a growing improv community—we had more than 75 students register for our most recent round of classes.
Whatever your age, you can choose the classes and challenges that are right for you.

An Active, Engaging Class
There’s no need to sit on the sidelines. Our classes use a variety of exercises and games designed to keep everyone involved and give you plenty of opportunities to get up and play.
Each class offers something different, with new exercises and challenges designed to keep improv fresh, engaging and fun.
Never done improv? Perfect!
You don’t need acting experience, performance experience or any special talent to take this class.
We’ll teach you the fundamentals in a supportive environment where it’s okay to make mistakes, experiment and discover what you can do.
The Seniors Class Is Just the Beginning
The Seniors Class is one of the ways to experience improv at Improv Kingston. If you enjoy the class and want to keep exploring, there are plenty of opportunities to continue.
We have seniors enjoying classes throughout Improv Kingston, including Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Long Form.
Completing the Seniors Class can open the door to many other classes, challenges and performance opportunities. You can continue at your own pace and choose the classes that are right for you.
Your age doesn’t determine how far you can take improv.
