At Improv Kingston, improv isn’t something you “get through.” It’s a practice you return to — like going to the gym, or doing yoga weekly —
to keep your creativity, confidence, and communication skills strong.
Whether you’re new to improv or have been playing for a while, our eight-week classes give you space to explore, grow, and deepen your improv practice in a supportive, welcoming environment.
One session • First Saturday Each Month • 2½ hours • 12-2:30 PM • Only $45+tax ($50.85)
Perfect if you’re curious and want to see what improv feels like before committing to a full course. Great for all experience levels — especially first-timers.
Pro tip: Many students take “Try Improv” then choose to begin their practice with Level 1. It’s a fun, low-pressure way to discover the joy of play.
Our foundational eight-week class, designed for all experience levels. In Level 1 you build the reliable skills that make improv effortless over time — listening, responding, ensemble play, and playful risk-taking.
Here’s the important part: Level 1 is a practice, not a hurdle. Many students take it more than once — the first time is about survival, the second time is about fluid play. By returning to Level 1, you embed improv as a creative habit.

Okay, we know — this isn’t improv.
But it is comedy. And some of the best sketch ideas start where improv leaves off.
This is your chance to take your wildest, weirdest, funniest ideas and turn them into fully scripted sketches.
Join Trevor Strong of the Arrogant Worms as he guides you through idea generation, writing, rewriting, and shaping your material — all the way to performing your best work at the end of the course.
